Trevor McSweeney is a drummer, recording engineer, and mix engineer from Boston, MA who earned his Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music. In his time prior to Berklee, Trevor studied the drum set privately with John Ramsay, who exposed him to The Alan Dawson Method, which includes the memorization of The Rudimental Ritual. This exercise is 16 ½ minutes -when played at 80bpm- of sticking patterns known as “rudiments” played on the snare drum over the Samba feet pattern. Trevor credits much of his creativity and limb independence to the rudiments he picked up while learning The Rudimental Ritual.
